Brompton Superlight Bottom Bracket Cups

Genuine Brompton Superlight Bottom Bracket Cups manufactured by FSA for use with the Brompton Superlight Carbon Crankset.

These lightweight 30 mm BSA-threaded external bottom bracket cups are fitted as standard on Brompton T Line bikes. They may also be used when upgrading compatible A Line, C Line and P Line Bromptons to the Superlight Carbon Crankset.

Designed to support the larger 30 mm crank axle, the cups provide smooth crank rotation, efficient power transfer and a secure fit. They are suitable as replacements for worn or damaged original cups or as part of a Superlight Carbon Crankset upgrade.

When installing on an A Line, C Line or P Line steel frame, Brompton recommends that the bottom bracket shell be professionally faced and re-tapped before fitting.
