Brompton / CatEye Rapid Mini USB rechargeable saddle mounted rear light - including mounting bracket and recharging cable
In the middle of 2016, Brompton changed the design of their saddle. The stitching was removed to reduce chaffing and a small hole appeared underneath - ready for mounting a rear light.
| Note: Brompton saddles made before mid-late 2016 time do not have the mount point and are not compatible with this light. You need the 2017 onwards model saddle for this light! |
New (for end of 2016) Brompton, in conjunction with CatEye launched this saddle mounted rear light kit:
- Brompton CatEye Rapid Mini USB rechargeable rear light - 25 lumens (brightness)
- Brompton saddle mounting bracket and screw
- USB charging cable
The Brompton / CatEye Rapid Mini has the following modes:
- Constant - run time 3 hours
- Flash - run time 30 hours
- Rapid - run time 20 hours
- Pulse - run time 5 hours

Also useful as a running light in daytime - making you more visible
The battery is charged using a USB cable (included) - accessed by lifting the red cover on the side of the light. When charging, the power button will be illuminated - this will go off when fully charged.
Fully charge the light before first use.
Charging time is approx. 2 hours
