Deconstruction Investment and Loss Digital Cartoon

I know for many of us who are deconstructing our beliefs, we can say we certainly experience and enjoy many gains.

What I'm talking about here is my claim that the more you invested in your beliefs, the more devoted you were to your faith, and the more involved you were with your church, the more loss you experience as a result.

So, the things you invested in... certainty, assurance, weekly activities, devotion, a sense of destiny and purpose, and the fellowship of community... this is where you experience the most loss and feel the grief of this loss more deeply. Ya?
