Shamed and Abused Digital Cartoon

Many of us do this.

It's human to want to belong.

It's painful not to.

So we will sacrifice a lot to experience it.

But we discover that sometimes belonging comes at too great a cost and we must make the decision to take care of ourselves and leave.

When we find our true selves then we are better prepared to find others to welcome into our lives and to be welcomed into theirs.
